PRICING

Our full price list, in public.

Every line of it.

Most operators in this market don't publish prices, because a price is where a margin hides. We publish every line, so you can hold it up against anyone else's.

Three layers of cost — only the first one is our income

① Service fee

Accompaniment, interpreting, assessment, follow-up

Priced by the day or by the visit; see the table below. This is our main revenue.

② Coordination fee

Trip planning, institution liaison, contingency handling

A flat ¥800 per case, never a percentage. The more expensive the trip, the same we earn.

③ Pass-through costs

Medical fees, lodging, transport

You pay the hospital, the hotel, the driver directly. We never touch it and earn nothing on this layer.

We take no margin on layer ③. Whatever discount we negotiate is passed to you in full.

These are the things we don't earn on.

  • 01No referral commission from hospitals.
  • 02No mark-up on medical fees.
  • 03No margin on lodging.
  • 04No selling "specialist slots", no queue-jumping.
  • 05No "success deposit".
  • 06No charging by outcome.

If we ever start earning on any of these, stop working with us immediately. This rule is written into the service contract, and breach entitles you to a full refund.

06 / 08

Why we cost 20–30% more than the market

You may well compare our rate with ¥238 for four hours. That's a fair comparison — but it isn't the same thing.

What we add What it costs
Certified companions, background-checked Training and vetting
Professional indemnity and accident cover on every case ¥150 / case
Bilingual capability (English / Cantonese / Teochew) Labour premium
Cross-border coordination (border, itinerary, lodging) Labour
A point-by-point record of every exchange, plus a daily report to the family Labour
Compliance with the Basic Requirements for Socialised Medical Accompaniment Services Institutional compliance cost

If all you need is "someone at the hospital with them", the ¥238-for-four-hours service on the market is entirely adequate, and we are not the better-value choice. We are built for the cases that cross languages and cities, and need somebody accountable for the result.

Pricing questions

Why doesn't the quote include medical fees?

Because medical fees vary with the person and the plan, and must be paid by you directly to the hospital. Collecting them would blur responsibility, and might leave you thinking we earn something in the middle.

Can I buy a half day only?

Yes. A half day is ¥880. But for cross-border clients we'd generally suggest at least one full day, since border crossings and waiting times are hard to control.

Can you guarantee a particular specialist?

No. We don't promise any specialist's slot, and we don't jump queues. What we can do is match your condition to a suitable institution and clinician, and book through the normal channel.

What if something goes wrong with the treatment?

Clinical responsibility rests with the medical institution; we take no part in diagnosis or treatment. Our responsibility is the service: accompanying, interpreting, recording, coordinating, and helping you complain. That is also why we carry professional indemnity cover.

Why are some operators cheaper?

Possibly no insurance, no registered entity, no bilingual staff — or a margin hidden inside the medical fee or the lodging. We suggest you take our six "what we don't earn on" points and ask them one by one.

Can the annual membership offset service fees?

No. The ¥2,800 annual membership covers unlimited remote consultation and a year of appointment reminders. It is a separate product and does not offset per-case fees.
